WASBA AND HARNESS RACING LOSES A CHAMPION
In Septemer 2014 WASBA lost our serving President Kerry Clarke, following a short battle with a very aggressive cancer. Kerry never gave up, but could not win this battle. Kerry was such a positive influence, always pushing for what was best for harness racing and breeding. We will continue to move forward and continue to advance the cause of his and our beloved sport, harness racing.

EXEMPLARY SERVICE TO WASBA AND BREEDING IN WA
Graham Compson resigned from the WASBA Committee in 2019, after a considerable period on the Committee, including 3 years as President from 2004/05 to 2007/08. Graham joined the Committee in 1999, and apart from an absence from 2008 to 2010, he continually supported the activities of WASBA.
In all, Graham spent nearly 18 years supporting WASBA and breeding in WA. Graham was instrumental in resurrecting the TROTSYND syndicates, which are now the forerunner of some extremely successful syndicates being run in WA.
We thank Graham for his enormous contribution to WA breeding, standing up when it counts the most.
